Projekt "Poza szkolną ławą - nauczanie przez doświadczanie" zaplanowany został na lata 2015-2017
z myślą o stworzeniu Szkolnego Programu Nauczania przez Doświadczanie, zgodnie z założeniami którego część procesu nauczania odbywać się będzie poza tradycyjną przestrzenią szkolną wyznaczaną przez krzesło i ławkę, a nawet poza terenem szkoły, z uwzględnieniem wykorzystania niekonwencjonalnych, bazujących na konieczności osobistego doświadczania świata przez uczniów, metod i technik dydaktycznych.
Dla nauczycieli, którzy staną przed zadaniem stworzenia wspomnianego wyżej Programu, zaplanowane zostały działania wspomagające związane z zagranicznymi mobilnościami, takie jak wyjazdy na kursy doskonalenia zawodowego o tematyce tożsamej z tematyką projektu czy wyjazdy na obserwacje do szkół partnerskich (job-shadowing). W zamierzeniu każdy z nauczycieli powinien skorzystać chociaż z jednej z form doskonalenia.
Każda seria wyjazdów zakończona zostanie konferencją podsumowującą, na której pozostali członkowie grona pedagogicznego zapoznają się z rezultatami mobilności, a po zakończeniu ostatniego wyjazdu szkoleniowego zebrane zostaną wszystkie wykonane przez uczestników materiały i na ich podstawie zespoły przedmiotowe przystąpią do tworzenia odpowiednich sekcji Programu.
Program stworzony zostanie po zakończeniu serii szkoleń, czyli do końca roku 2017, a wdrażany będzie systematycznie od września 2018 roku, by na stałe wejść do planu pracy szkoły.
Cały projekt podsumowany zostanie dużą imprezą środowiskową, do udziału w której zaproszeni zostaną uczniowie i nauczyciele szkół katowickich, a w czasie której w atrakcyjny sposób zaprezentowane zostaną założenia nowego Programu. Wszelkie wypracowane w projekcie materiały publikowane będą na stronie internetowej projektu, skąd będzie można je w miarę zainteresowania pobierać.
The "Away from the school desks - teaching through experiencing" project has been planned for the years 2015-2017 with the main purpose of creating the School System of Teaching through Experiencing. According to the System, a certain part of the teaching process would be happening outside the traditional chair-and-desk learning environment, and even away from the school building. Unconventional methods and techniques will be used, stressing the importance of having a hands-on experience of the surrounding world.
The teachers, whose task will be to create and implement the System, will take part in a variety of activities whose theme is the same as the theme of the project. These include: international mobilities aimed at taking part in training courses, international mobilities in order to perform job-shadowing observations in partner schools, school conferences, open lessons or experience-sharing workshops.. Each teacher is intended to take part in at least one international teacher training mobility.
Every series of mobilities will finish with a conference, organized in order to make the whole teaching staff of the institution aware of the results and effects of the training.
After all the mobility events, the School System of Teaching through Experiencing will be created, with its different sections being prepared by appropriate groups of teachers. The System will have been planned by the end of 2017 and its implementation is going to start in January 2018, leading eventually to its becoming part of the school's work plan.
The project will be summed up during a big dissemination event, where teams of pupils and teachers from the city's primary schools will be invited to participate. The event will present the ideas of the new System in an innovative and creative way. All materials worked on during the project will be generally accessible and downloadable from the project's website.
